Automation Monitor for Jira

Summary

Automation Monitor for Jira runs entirely inside Atlassian's cloud infrastructure ("Runs on Atlassian"). The app makes no requests to any system outside your Atlassian site. We operate no servers and no database for this app, and we have no access to your Jira content.

What the app stores

The following is stored in Atlassian Forge storage, within your own site's installation of the app:

• Monitor configuration — the name you give a monitor, its expected heartbeat interval, whether it is paused, and when it was created.
• Heartbeat records — the time each heartbeat was received, a status value reported by the rule, and a count of heartbeats.
• Alert records — when an alert opened, the reason, and the key of the alert issue that was created.
• App settings — the Jira project and issue type you select to receive alerts.

What the app does not store

• Issue summaries, descriptions, comments, attachments, or any other Jira content.
• Names, email addresses, account IDs, or any other personal data.
• Credentials, API tokens, or passwords.

What the app reads from Jira

The list of projects and their issue types — used only to populate the project selector in the app's settings screen.

What the app writes to Jira

• Creates an issue in the project you select, when a monitored automation rule stops reporting.
• Adds a comment to that issue when the rule resumes reporting.

Both actions occur only in the project you configure.

Data transmission

None. The app has no external network access and transmits no data to Wisdom-Zone or to any third party.

Data location and retention

Data is held in Atlassian Forge storage and is subject to Atlassian's infrastructure and data residency arrangements for your site. Deleting a monitor removes its records. Uninstalling the app removes the data the app has stored.

Diagnostic logs

The app writes operational log entries — for example, that a heartbeat was received or that an alert opened. These are retained by the Atlassian Forge platform and may be reviewed by us for support and troubleshooting. They contain partial monitor identifiers and timestamps. They do not contain Jira content, personal data, or complete monitor credentials.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data handling changes, this page and the date above will be updated before the change ships.
